Our client is a boutique advisory firm with offices next to Bryant Park specializing in wealth management, financial advisory and tax/accounting services. This is a newly-created Senior
Tax Manager opportunity!!

Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and review of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
  • Manage a team of Tax Associates and oversee workflow, training, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' financial outcomes and minimize liabilities.
  • Consult directly with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and corporate clients to understand and meet their tax advisory needs.
  • Conduct technical tax research and stay abreast of emerging tax legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with filing deadlines and quality standards.
  • Represent clients during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities to resolve disputes.
  • Develop client relationships through proactive communication and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with wealth management and financial advisory teams to provide integrated, holistic financial solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for new business development and contribute to the firm's growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in tax planning, preparation, and advisory services within public accounting or financial advisory firms.
  • CPA license (or active pursuit of licensure) required.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Intuit Quick Books, Microsoft Excel, tax preparation platforms).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements with a high level of autonomy and professionalism.
