Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce's client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team of a global entertainment company based in New York, NY. The role will be 3/4 days in the office and 1/2 days remote. The position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in business, financial analysis, strategy and operations. • Build and update financial models for reporting, budgeting and forecasting, including detailed revenue models and integrated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow models.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecast submissions.
• Participate in month‑end closing in coordination with the accounting team.
• Analyze current and past trends across revenue, cost of sales, overhead expenses and investments.
• Assist in creation of strategic and financial materials for the corporate parent company.
• Communicate and coordinate with various teams to gather insights into the industry and company for forecasting and strategy.
• Help create and present business review materials to the CEO and CFO.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and ad‑hoc reporting.

• 2–3 years of experience in Big 4 transaction services, due diligence, deal advisory, or audit for large publicly traded companies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Power Query a plus), and ability to learn and reconcile other accounting and financial reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Business Central, SAP BPC, One Stream).
• Demonstrated continuous improvement of performance and efficiency.
• Ability to analyze accounting data and communicate effectively with senior management, including non‑financial professionals, to explain conclusions clearly.
• Strategic thinking, considering broader business implications, and recommending appropriate actions and solutions.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• CPA or parts passed is a plus.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance and business needs, and may be modified in the future.
