General Finance Department
Responsible for ensuring that the agency’s financial policies conform to all laws, regulations, and CAMBA’s fiscal policies, and that all financial resources are controlled, recorded, and reported. The department plans, organizes, and monitors the financial activities of the agency and manages day‑to‑day cash services, including cash receipts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. It prepares comprehensive combined financial statements and oversees the year‑end financial audit, the A133, and all funder‑required audits.
Due to the need for segregation of duties, some duties for bookkeepers and clerks may vary.

What The Bookkeeper Does- Prepare and analyze expense reconciliations as requested.
- Assist in fiscal and financial statement audits.
- Record all accounts payable invoices in the accounting system.
- Process recurring expense transactions (e.g., rent, match grant, etc.).
- Verify consultant/sub‑contractor agreement terms to approved payment request forms.
- Scan and attach all consultant/sub‑contractor agreements into the accounting system.
- Organize and inventory general finance documents (e.g., client leases).
- Reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Participate in administrative and staff meetings as requested.
- May collect, organize, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. and two years of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience.
$50,000 annually
StatusFull‑time (35 hours per week)

Salary InformationWhen salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position and program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.
