The Atlantic Group has partnered with an investment firm in the NYC area. They have an immediate need for a Fund Operations Analyst to join their team. This position is a full‑time contract role lasting around 8 weeks.
The OpportunityThe Fund Operations Analyst is a critical member of the Fund Operations team, and she/he will execute a variety of projects and tasks related to client account administration and investment operations. The Fund Operations team critical role in the organization’s strategic agenda and is responsible for operational functions including account opening, investment‑related money movement, fund indications, allocations, redemptions and correspondence. Additionally, Fund Ops manages a centralized inbox for fund and client investment communications along with bulk capital call and distribution support.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York City office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
- Oversee the operational aspects of the LP/investor lifecycle across funds and investment vehicles.
- Process and monitor fund subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers liaising with Fund administrators and internal client coverage teams.
- Review client documentation and proactively follow up on outstanding items to ensure completeness.
- Oversee compliance checks (e.g., AML, KYC, etc.) on prospective and existing investors.
- Track investors’ funds and oversee the reconciliation of cash movements in collaboration with the fund administrators and Fund Accounting team.
- Manage and update investor information within CRM and other investor databases throughout the entire investor lifecycle. Collaborate with various teams including internal Capital Markets, Legal & Compliance, Operations, and Fund Accounting teams to ensure a positive client experience.
- Respond to daily investor inquiries and requests through email and phone. Prepare internal and external reports to analyze investor base, asset flows, etc.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role at an asset management firm or hedge fund preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills, with experience communicating with and managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
- Client‑centric mindset and desire to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Investor relations/services
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and able to prioritize tasks in a time‑sensitive environment.
- Strong academic track record with a minimum of bachelor’s degree.
