DESCRIPTION:
DCA is seeking a few select Summer Analysts to join the NYC-based team and provide broad support across a number of active engagements, as well as conduct deep market and industry research. This is an intensive 10-week program; a graduation date of May 2027 is preferred (current juniors), but exceptional May 2028 graduates (current sophomores) will also be considered. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, adept in basic business and financial concepts, and interested in the technology industry.
The position offers candidates a front-row seat to the cutting edge in macro technology trends, the nuances of M&A deal making, and direct exposure to C-level executives and company founders via active client engagements.
- Supporting deal teams in the development of client presentation materials
- Performing market analysis and research for both internal use and distribution throughout DCA’s network
- Conducting various financial and valuation analyses, including three-statement models, DCF, precedent transaction, and trading comparable analyses
- Assisting in pitch book preparation, requiring deep dive research on individual prospects
- Managing transaction flows, including the progress with individual prospective buyers, client milestones, and all relevant market-moving events
- Familiarity with accounting, financial statements, and valuation concepts
- Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Outstanding academic and extracurricular performance
- Fluency in MS Office Suite:
Excel, PowerPoint, Word
