Financial Analyst; Cost Control – Capital Projects | NYC

Pacetas Agency is seeking a Financial Analyst (Cost Control) to support a major capital development program at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (WTC campus). This role sits within the Project Management Office (PMO) and focuses on financial analysis, cost control, and capital project reporting
.

Duration: 2-Year Contract

Client: Port Authority of New York & New Jersey

Start: Immediate

• Perform cost analysis and financial performance reporting for capital projects
• Track project expenditures and develop cost spending reports by cost type
• Generate financial and budget reports for PMO stakeholders
• Support capital plan forecasting and monthly financial updates
• Review actual project costs and prepare accruals within SAP
• Coordinate with WTC Finance, Comptroller, and project teams
• Process financial reconciliations and support project close-out activities
• Maintain project financial tracking, including charge codes and contract reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• 3–5+ years of experience in cost analysis or project financial controls within construction or infrastructure programs
• Advanced Excel reporting and financial analysis skills
• Experience supporting capital projects or infrastructure programs

• Experience with SAP or financial accounting systems
• Familiarity with IBM Cognos, Wintrak, or similar reporting platforms
• Experience in the public sector or large infrastructure projects

• Work on high-visibility capital projects at the World Trade Center
