DESCRIPTION:

Within Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, the Global Markets Division brings together the Research, Investment and Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Clearing, Prime Services, Equities, Fixed Income, Futures and Currencies & Commodities structuring capabilities with the objective of providing investors with one integrated multi-asset market solutions team. The business uses an advisory and innovation mindset, focused on client needs, with a global leader in financial markets engineering.

Global Markets is a leading player in derivatives, with unrivaled over the counter and listed derivatives expertise, as well as cross-asset and economic research. Our prime services' offering is a unique combination of execution, clearing, custody and financing services.

• Produce major US indices (S&P, Russell, Nasdaq, CRSP) change predictions and other index families.
• Implement and maintain systematic tools for monitoring both scheduled and ad-hoc index events.
• Analyze corporate actions and potential impact on index changes.
• Conduct fundamental research on companies via official SEC filings.
• Follow index methodology changes and integrate them into the existing processes.
• Optimize portfolio risks using in-house or vendor tools.
• Coordinate with other regions to produce worldwide indices (MSCI, FTSE, etc) predictions.
• Execute trades and monitor portfolio performance.

• Deep understanding of all major US indices methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in producing index change predictions.
• Proficient in Python, C#, or other commonly used programming languages.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field; no maximum experience.
• Bachelor's degree;
  English language.

Nice to have:

• Experience with portfolio optimization models.
• Understanding of transaction cost model and execution system.

Societe Generale offers a hybrid work arrangement that allows remote and on-site work, with arrangements varying by business area. The applicable business lines will determine and communicate the work arrangements.

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus, or other benefits where applicable. Actual base salary offers vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package.
