Institutional Investor Liaisons manage relationships with institutional investors by coordinating communication, reporting, and engagement across investment, sales, and investor relations teams. Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors and allocators
- Coordinate investor communications, updates, and meeting logistics
- Support fundraising and capital raising initiatives through investor engagement
- Prepare and distribute investor reports, performance updates, and market commentary
- Track investor inquiries, feedback, and relationship activity
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to translate investment performance into client-facing materials
- Maintain investor databases and CRM systems
- Assist with investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and due diligence requests
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant investor communications
- Monitor institutional investor trends, preferences, and market sentiment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Experience in investor relations, institutional sales, capital markets, or client service
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and relationship management abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and CRM tools; familiarity with investor reporting platforms is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
