We are seeking a detail-oriented financial professional to serve as the critical link between our construction client's field operations and corporate accounting. In this role, you won’t just "crunch numbers"—you will be the financial architect for your assigned projects, ensuring every dollar is tracked, every subcontractor is managed, and every project manager has the data they need to succeed.
Financial Gatekeeper:Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from initial contract filing to final closeout.
Billing Expert:Lead the preparation of complex progress billings and schedule of values (G702/703 formats) to ensure consistent cash flow.
Operational Liaison:Partner closely with Project Managers to audit labor costs and expenses, providing the "story" behind the project’s financial health.
Compliance & Relations:Manage the subcontractor ecosystem by verifying statements, coordinating timely payments, and maintaining professional rapport with vendors and clients.
Data Translation:Utilize advanced ERP systems and Excel to generate job-costing reports that drive executive decision-making.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. MBA a plus.
5+ years navigating the unique financial complexities of the construction sector.
Skilled in Sage/Timberline (or similar construction ERPs) and possess advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Fluent in construction-specific accounting concepts, including cost coding, purchase orders, and complex CM billing.
