The Infrastructure team is seeking a Vice President to support the sourcing, execution, and portfolio management of infrastructure investments across core, coreplus, and valueadd strategies. The VP will play a handson role across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior deal team members and portfolio company management teams
Key Responsibilities Investment Execution- Lead and support all aspects of the investment process, including:
- Deal sourcing and screening
- Financial modeling and valuation
- Commercial, technical, regulatory, ESG, and legal diligence
- Transaction structuring, negotiation, and execution
- Prepare and present investment materials for internal review and Investment Committee.
- Actively support portfolio companies postclose, including:
- Board participation and observer roles
- Strategic initiatives, acquisitions, financings, and exits
- Ongoing performance monitoring and valuation analysis
- Coordinate with internal partners (Capital Markets, ESG, Risk, Legal, Operations).
- Develop deep expertise across infrastructure subsectors (e.g., energy transition, power, utilities, transportation, digital infrastructure).
- Track market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.
- Support thematic research and proactive sourcing initiatives.
- Mentor and oversee Associates and Analysts.
- Work collaboratively across global Infrastructure and Alternatives teams.
- 7-10+ years of total experience in infrastructure investing, private equity, energy/transition investing, or related sectors.
- Prior experience at:
- Infrastructure private equity or infrastructure credit funds
- Private equity funds with strong infrastructure exposure
- Investment banking (Infrastructure / Power / Energy / Sponsors), with buyside experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience across:
- Fullcycle investing (sourcing execution portfolio management)
- Complex financial modeling and structuring
- Investment Committee materials and senior level presentations
- Strong understanding of:
- Project finance and cashflowbased assets
- Regulatory frameworks and long duration assets
- Outstanding analytical, judgment, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently and "play up" in a lean deal team environment.
- Commercial mindset with strong investment judgment
- Highly collaborative and team oriented
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple work streams
- Comfortable engaging with management teams, advisors, and senior stakeholders
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150,000-$300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
