Venture Fund Paralegal

Job Description

The Venture Fund Paralegal will perform duties supporting venture capital fund formation and the ongoing operation of funds.

Maintain fund formation checklists, review and respond to investor subscriptions, organize general partner, main fund, side fund and management company entities, distribute closing documents to investors, make federal and state securities law filings, and prepare closing volumes. Assist with transfers of interests in venture capital funds, including preparing transfer agreements and reviewing the eligibility of new investors.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good judgment, initiative and flexibility.
• At least one year of prior experience in the fund formation practice area.
• Open to junior or senior level experience.
• BS/BA Degree.

The annualized base salary range for this position is expected to be $75,000.00-$.
