Senior Associate, Business Management Tax Services

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of individual, trust, gift, partnership, corporate, and S-corporation tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimates
• Reconcile retained earnings, analyze general ledgers, and accurately prepare appropriate journal entries
• Prepare year‑end individual tax projections and year‑end close‑outs of loan‑out corporations
• Expand technical skills in tax areas relevant to the entertainment industry and high‑net‑worth individuals and families
• Review federal and state tax notices received by the client and correspond with the taxing authorities in response to the notices
• Assist with compiling information in preparation of governmental audits
• Prepare financial statements for high‑net‑worth clients, including recording investment activities from brokerage accounts
• Manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Develop strategic tax planning and research skills
• Develop administrative, professional, and interpersonal skills to better serve clients
• Develop communication skills to convey tax issues to non‑tax professionals and clients
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field
• Active CPA license required
• Minimum of 3 years of U.S. tax consulting and compliance experience in public accounting
• Experience preparing tax returns for a variety of entity types, including partnerships, S‑corporations, and high‑net‑worth individuals
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate and complete tax work papers and returns
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members and support client interactions
• Working knowledge of tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem, Ultra Tax)

For Colorado residents: $79,500 – $108,400. For Washington, Illinois, New York, and Southern California residents: $87,500 – $119,200. For Northern California residents: $91,500 – $124,600. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
