Senior Professional, Corporate Finance & Strategy

Onex is seeking to hire an individual within the Corporate Strategy & Finance team to help lead and drive strategic initiatives across the firm. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will work across finance, strategy, and operations, collaborating closely with teams across Onex to drive growth and efficiencies.

This role is well suited to a highly analytical, commercially minded and execution‑orientated professional who is comfortable independently managing complex work streams and delivering high quality outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. The role may be based in either Toronto or New York. Corporate title will be commensurate with experience.

• Conductfinancialanalysis,valuationworkandstrategicassessmentstoinformexecutivedecision-making.
• Driveenterprise‑wideprojectmanagementefforts,overseeingcross‑functionalinitiativesfromstrategydevelopmentthroughimplementation.
• Drivecostoptimizationandoperatingmodelenhancementswhilemaintaininghighservicestandardsandalignmentwithsustainabilitygoals.
• Providestrategicsupportonselectpartnershipandtransactioninitiativesalignedwithfirmpriorities,includingsupportforcorporatedevelopmentefforts(M&A).
• Supportcorporaterealestatestrategyandassociatedprojectsalignedwithfirmcultureandfuture‑of‑workobjectivesasrequired.

• 7+yearsofexperienceinconsulting,corporatedevelopment,investmentbanking,corporate finance,orarelatedfield.
• Bringsstrongknowledgeofcapitalmarkets,corporate finance,andinvestmentstrategiescommonlyemployedbyalternativeassetmanagers.
• Provenfinancialmodeling,valuationandanalyticalskills,combinedwiththeabilitytointerpretandsynthesizecomplexdatatosupportstrategicdecisionmaking.
• Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills,withexperiencepreparingmaterialsforseniorexecutivesandboards.
• Highlevelofprofessionalism,integrityandsoundjudgment.
• Abilitytooperateeffectivelyinafast-paced,complex,globalenvironmentwithmultiplepriorities.
• Strongownershipmindsetwiththeabilitytoindependentlydriveinitiativesfromconceptthroughexecution.

This role may be filled in either New York or Toronto. The base salary range of USD $200,000–$275,000 per year applies only to New York‑based hires. Compensation for Toronto‑based hires will be determined separately in CAD based on the local market factors and candidate skills/experience. All‑in compensation may vary based on several factors, such as relative experience, education level, certification(s), and geographical location to account for local market conditions.
