Position: Wealth Management Client Associate - Bilingual Spanish Preferred

Our Financial Advisors and Wealth Management Client Associates help clients pursue the life they envision through a personal relationship with their advisory team committed to their needs.

Job Overview

This role provides client service support to one or more Financial Advisors (FAs), acting as the primary point of contact within Merrill to address all client and FA service needs. The position supports enterprise strategic objectives, operational excellence goals, and client advocacy by customizing solutions for each FA’s business.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent client service by educating clients on all Merrill banking and service offerings.
  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of client materials and follow up on all client and FA requests.
  • Support practices that align with the bank’s policies and procedures to promote operational excellence, protect clients, and manage risk.
  • Identify, deepen, and maintain client relationships by promoting Merrill’s offerings and encouraging integration of banking into daily practices.
  • Assist with day‑to‑day team activities and cover roles during absence or seasonal staffing needs, maintaining a client‑first mindset.

Desired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual Portuguese an asset.
  • Series 7 & 66 (63/65) preferred; if not currently held, willingness to obtain within 6 months.
