Pay Rate: $70-75/hr

In this role, you would be responsible for managing high-volume, multi-state payroll tax operations across Federal, State, and Local jurisdictions. The team is looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in payroll tax compliance, reconciliations, tax filings, notices, audits. A large part of the role involves working with third-party tax vendors such as ADP Smart Compliance and ensuring payroll tax data is accurate and compliant across multiple entities and states, especially New York and California.

• Managing payroll tax remittance and filings (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Handling federal/state payroll tax notices and audits
• Reconciling wages, with holdings, and payroll tax balances
• Reviewing/amending Forms and payroll tax returns
• Supporting SOX compliance, reporting, and system testing
• Partnering with Accounting and Treasury teams on payroll tax matters
