Indirect Tax Intern

Marsh is looking for an Intern to work in our Indirect Tax Group starting immediately in our Mid‑Town Manhattan location (some Hybrid possible). For this position the Co‑Op Assignment can be until graduation with the opportunity to work 20–25 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and full‑time during the summer and school breaks. Your specific work schedule may be tailored at the start of the program to your set academic obligations.

• Assist in preparation of non‑income tax (sales and use, personal property, business licenses and annual reports) compliance.
• Administrative and miscellaneous tasks (management of: notices, payment requests, signature requests, data entry, etc.).

• Major in Accounting and Finance with a demonstrated GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Enrollment in current or past tax courses and intention to pursue an M.S. Taxation degree is a plus.
• All college applicants who have demonstrated academic excellence and a desire to work in a tax department.
• Strong Excel skills, good work ethic, proficiency with written and oral communication skills and proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
