Get instant notifications when new job openings matching "Secondaries / VP jobs in New York, United States" are published.## About This Role Goldman Sachs Asset Management's Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) team is seeking a Vice President to join the Vintage Strategies group within the External Investing Group (XIG), focusing on Real Assets Secondaries (Infrastructure and Real Estate).The Vintage Platform is Goldman Sachs Asset Management's dedicated secondary investing platform.

Since 1998, it has raised nine globally diversified secondary funds and four strategy-specific vehicles, having invested over $85 billion across more than 775 secondary transactions.

Responsibilities include leading client engagement and product management across the full fundraising lifecycle for Vintage Real Assets strategies, including fund launches, interim closes, and post-close investor engagement. The VP will serve as a core commercial partner to the secondaries investment team, collaborating on fund strategy, mandate design, vehicle structuring, and positioning to ensure alignment between investment objectives and investor demand.

The role involves building and deepening long-term relationships with global institutional investors across pensions, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, endowments, foundations, and consultants, with a focus on repeat capital formation and strategic partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a high volume of investor interactions across due diligence processes, portfolio and performance updates, ongoing investor requests, and ad hoc projects such as bespoke mandates and tailored liquidity or co-investment structures.

This position sits within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, which manages over $3 trillion in assets under supervision and provides investment and advisory services for pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors, and individuals.
