KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Valuations practice.
Responsibilities:- Perform industry research including comparable publicly traded companies and similar mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, analyze competitive industry dynamics and financial conditions of peer companies
- Participate in due diligence meetings, evaluate business plans, and perform financial statement and benchmarking analyses
- Prepare and review valuation reports, proposals, and executive presentations, and spreadsheet models for accuracy including the discounted cash flow (DCF), guideline public company, and transaction methods
- Manage risk and financial management activities of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets
- Manage engagements by working with and training staff and interns
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum five years of recent experience with valuations of business entities and intangible assets, purchase price allocations, and financial analysis and research
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business from an accredited college/university
- Fluent in the Japanese language
- Licensed ABV; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research and analytical skill
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
