Overview

A leading investment bank, private equity firm, or growth‑stage venture platform may seek a Growth Capital Strategist to support fundraising, capital deployment, and investment analysis. This role is ideal for candidates interested in structuring growth‑stage investments, evaluating capital efficiency, and supporting portfolio companies or clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze growth‑stage companies and markets to identify attractive capital deployment opportunities
  • Support fundraising and capital sourcing initiatives for private equity, venture, or corporate development deals
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess valuation, funding requirements, and return scenarios
  • Conduct market research, benchmarking, and due diligence to inform investment decisions
  • Prepare client- and investor-facing materials including pitch decks, investment memoranda, and term sheets
  • Coordinate with deal teams, portfolio managers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of growth‑stage financing transactions
  • Collaborate with senior bankers and strategists to develop growth capital strategies and optimize investment structures
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast‑paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or growth equity is beneficial
