A leading middle‑market or bulge‑bracket investment bank may seek a Financial Sponsors Analyst to support financial sponsor and private equity clients in M&A, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and other sponsor‑backed transactions. These roles are ideal for candidates seeking rigorous analytical work, exposure to sponsor‑driven deals, and structured professional development in the private equity and investment banking ecosystem.

• Build and maintain financial models (3‑statement, DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution) for sponsor‑backed transactions
• Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and valuation analyses to support private equity clients
• Assist in executing leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and M&A deals sponsored by financial investors
• Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations tailored to financial sponsors
• Support due diligence, data room management, and transaction execution for sponsor‑led deals
• Collaborate with senior bankers and sponsor coverage teams on deal strategy and client engagement

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, LBO modeling, and valuation techniques
• Knowledge of private equity structures, sponsor‑backed transactions, and leveraged finance is a plus
• Excellent quantitative, research, and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast‑paced, deal‑driven environment
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Prior internship or full‑time experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance is beneficial
