Job Title:
Assistant Loan Servicing Accountant
Location:
Downtown, NYC
Stable NYC based local Bank seeks an Assistant Loan Servicing Accountant
Responsibilities:- Ensure loan transactions are recorded accurately and timely
- Work with portfolio mortgages and investor loan portfolios.
- Reconciling loan balances to the general ledger
- Provide support for both an internal and external audit
- Prioritize multiple deadlines, reconciliations, and exceptions to resolve on a timely basis.
- Customer Service
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of internal controls and audit requirements.
- Experience with Loan Servicing Accounting a plus
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of financial services industry experience
- Proven ability in team building and employee development skills,
