The Vice President will be part of the Investment Grade Corporate Private Credit team within the Alternatives group, responsible for structuring, underwriting, and executing corporate and infrastructure debt transactions. The role encompasses the full investment lifecycle, from deal origination and due diligence through financial modeling, negotiation with borrowers, documentation oversight, and ongoing portfolio management for institutional clients.
Key responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities, building and maintaining financial models, leading negotiations with borrowers and legal counsel, monitoring portfolio company performance, and mentoring junior investment professionals. The VP will work directly with senior managing directors and contribute to the continued growth of the private credit platform.
Candidates must bring 7-10+ years of experience in private credit or direct lending, with a proven track record across multiple complex transactions and a strong understanding of private credit industry trends and subsector dynamics. Capital structure and lending risk expertise, advanced financial modeling capabilities, strong stakeholder relationship management skills, and experience mentoring junior team members are essential. The position is based in New York.
