Manhattan, NY | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Up to $150K in base salary + 20% Bonus
I'm currently partnering with a rapidly growing global retail & hospitality organization to identify a high-caliber Senior Accounting Manager to join its U.S. corporate finance team.
This is far more than a traditional accounting leadership role.
The successful candidate will serve as the right hand to the Director of Finance, lead a team of accounting professionals, and play a critical role in strengthening the controllership function across a complex multi-entity environment. The position is intentionally designed to evolve into a Controller-level opportunity within the next 1–2 years.
Key areas of responsibility- Ownership of month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Oversight of consolidated reporting across 20+ entities
- Deep balance sheet ownership across revenue, inventory, AR, accruals and intercompany activity
- Leadership of accounting staff and external collections resources
- Process improvement, controls enhancement, and scalable infrastructure development
- Strategic partnership with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Multi-entity consolidation experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP experience (MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations highly preferred)
