Managing Director - FinTech Investment Banking

A leading global technology investment bank is looking to add an MD to its Fin Tech practice in New York.

The firm is one of the most active technology advisory platforms globally - pure-play tech focus, strong cross-border deal flow across the US, Europe, and Asia, and a reputation built on advising some of the world's most innovative companies.

This is a senior origination and execution role. You'll lead client relationships, drive new business development within the Fin Tech sector, and oversee transaction delivery across M&A, capital raises, and strategic advisory mandates.

• Lead origination and coverage of Fin Tech clients across payments, lending, wealth tech, insurtech, banking infrastructure, and adjacent sectors
• Execute M&A, sell-side, buy-side, and capital markets transactions end-to-end
• Build and maintain relationships with financial sponsors, strategic acquirers, and founder-led businesses
• Represent the firm at senior client and industry levels
• Mentor and develop junior deal team members

• Established MD or senior Director ready to step up, with a strong Fin Tech origination track record
• Deep sector knowledge across Fin Tech sub-verticals
• Existing client relationships and a demonstrable ability to win mandates
• Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable building within a lean, high-performance platform
