Director of Finance And Accounting

We're partnering with a leading global alternative investment manager on a newly created Finance Director opportunity supporting a rapidly growing private markets platform with more than $150B in AUM.

This is a highly visible leadership role sitting at the intersection of fund finance, operations, portfolio management, investor relations, tax, legal, and compliance. The position offers broad exposure across private credit, direct lending, structured credit, private equity, and multi-strategy investment vehicles while serving as a key strategic partner to senior investment professionals.

• Lead fund accounting, financial reporting, NAV oversight, performance reporting, and distribution waterfall reviews across complex private market structures
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, credit facilities, liquidity management, and fund operations processes
• Partner with investment teams on fund launches, SMA structures, allocation methodologies, fee arrangements, and investment structuring initiatives
• Coordinate closely with tax, legal, compliance, valuation, auditors, fund administrators, and other external service providers
• Drive automation, process improvements, governance initiatives, and operational scalability across the platform
• Support investor due diligence requests, management reporting, and strategic business initiatives

• 12+ years of experience within alternative investments, asset management, fund finance, or Big 4 financial services audit
• Strong understanding of private credit, direct lending, structured credit, private equity, hedge funds, or complex alternative investment structures
• Experience overseeing fund accounting, financial reporting, fund operations, and third-party service providers
• Deep knowledge of fund structures, legal entities, performance reporting, and investor allocations
