Investment Operations Associate | Multi-Strategy Asset Manager | NYC

We're partnering with a highly regarded investment management firm seeking an experienced Investment Operations Associate to join its lean and collaborative team.

This role offers broad exposure across operations, trading support, service provider management, regulatory reporting, and investor due diligence within a sophisticated investment environment.

• Oversee daily position, cash, and P&L reconciliations across multiple counter parties and internal systems.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and third-party providers to resolve trade exceptions and ensure accurate settlements.
• Support daily trade processing and act as a key point of contact for the investment team.
• Manage corporate actions, dividends, proxy events, and operational lifecycle activities.
• Review financing and cash balances while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and operational projects.
• Participate in investor operational due diligence meetings and contribute to firm-wide operational initiatives.
• Work closely with senior leadership on compliance, vendor management, and internal governance processes.

• 3+ years of experience in hedge fund operations, investment operations, or prime brokerage.
• Experience supporting multi-asset or alternative investment strategies is highly preferred.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex operational issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a small, high-performing team.
• Exposure to OMS, Bloomberg, and fund administration platforms is advantageous.
