Private Equity Accounting Manager

Our client, a leading fund administrator in the asset management industry, is seeking an experienced Private Equity Accounting Manager to join its private equity team. This is a permanent role within a fast-paced, collaborative environment offering strong exposure across private equity fund operations and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing business growth.

• Oversee the full lifecycle of private equity investments, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and performance tracking
• Support the development and execution of investment and portfolio strategies alongside senior leadership
• Prepare and review detailed fund reporting in line with GAAP for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and review complex waterfall calculations and allocations across multiple fund structures
• Lead due diligence processes for new and existing investments
• Lead and develop a team, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support financial reporting and operational requirements

• Strong background in fund accounting and solid understanding of GAAP
• Deep knowledge of private equity waterfalls and complex allocation methodologies
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a financial services environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment under pressure
• Clear and effective communicator, able to present complex financial information to a range of stakeholders
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with strong emphasis on risk awareness and planning
