This is an opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join a dynamic team focused on opportunistic real estate transactions within Cerberus Real Estate Capital Management, a platform within one of the world's leading alternative asset managers with approximately $70 billion in AUM across credit, private equity, and real estate strategies.
As an Analyst, responsibilities span three main areas: real estate asset management, fundraising and investor relations, and internal the asset management and acquisitions area, the Analyst will support ongoing activities across a diversified portfolio of direct real estate investments spanning multiple asset types and geographies. This includes monitoring asset-level performance through financial analysis, variance reporting, operating budget reviews, and leasing updates.
The role involves coordinating with property managers, operating partners, and third-party advisors to ensure execution of business plans, and preparing investment tracking materials such as hold/sell analyses, capital expenditure reviews, and disposition strategy updates.
On the fundraising and investor management side, the Analyst will support LP communications, including investor updates and ad hoc inquiries. Additional responsibilities include preparing materials for existing and prospective limited partners — DDQs, pitchbooks, and fund marketing materials — and coordinating with Investor Relations and Capital Formation teams to support ongoing fundraising initiatives for Cerberus Real Estate funds.
For internal reporting, the Analyst will prepare and maintain investment committee materials, produce quarterly and annual portfolio-level reporting for senior management and fund stakeholders, and maintain internal databases and tracking systems related to investment activity, asset performance, and fund metrics.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, strong financial modeling and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience in real estate investing, asset management, or related financial services is valued.
