At PwC, our risk and compliance team keeps clients compliant with regulations and manages risk through advice and solutions. In actuarial services you will analyze and manage financial risks via statistical modelling and data analysis to generate insights and recommendations that help businesses make informed decisions and mitigate potential risks.

The Opportunity

As part of the Actuarial Non-Life Services team, you will use your technical actuarial knowledge in loss reserving, rate making, and capital management to deliver high‑quality client solutions. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards while actively participating in client discussions and managing engagements. What You Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics.
  • At least 2 years of experience.
What Sets You Apart
  • Broad technical actuarial knowledge in loss reserving, rate making, and capital management.
  • Possession of an Associateship of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
  • Active pursuit of Fellowship of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
  • In‑depth analytical and creative problem‑solving skills.
  • Management of multiple simultaneous projects related to risk analysis.
  • Understanding of reserve analysis, mergers & acquisitions, and reinsurance.
  • Interpretation and consulting on accounting standards.
  • Communication of a broad range of Firm services.
  • Provision of candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner.

Travel Requirements:
Up to 20%

The salary range for this position is $72,000 – $184,440. For residents of Washington state the range is $72,000 – $212,000. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
