Job Summary
Grow the Structuring business in the Americas (North America and LATAM) through value-added solutions (bespoke hedging, investment and financing) to corporate, BBD, and investor clients.
Key Responsibilities- Work with Product Heads, Sales Heads and in-country Heads of Markets to help grow the structured credit business in line with SCB’s overall strategy.
- Drive structured business covering complex or bespoke investment/financing products across clients in the Americas.
- Work in close collaboration with client coverage teams and various product partners to design bespoke solutions based on the client’s situation and objectives.
- Provide inputs for the regional Americas and global structuring team to share product/client experience.
- Drive service excellence via robust product support, bespoke solutions and strategic cross-asset guidance.
- Deliver practical and viable solutions, reconciling objectives and constraints among clients, bank resources, markets, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify growth initiatives and partner with stakeholders to deliver new product capabilities.
- Drive structured transactions from idea origination to deal execution.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder liaison, and strong team play.
- Co-operate on global initiatives and share information and ideas with sales and structuring.
- Deliver training and education on structured products to internal and external audiences.
- Lead through example, set culture, tone and expectations, and collaborate with risk and control partners.
- Provide leadership, management and coaching to junior members.
- Enforce a culture of risk management and ensure compliance with risk management processes.
- Provide impartial guidance on product/client appropriateness and suitability.
- Ensure systems and controls comply with Group and business policies, procedures, and standards.
- Escalate risk issues and concentrations and facilitate remedial action.
- Protect the stability, long-term sustainability and reputation of the bank.

Education:
Bachelors Degree.
Experience:
7-9 years in Credit Structuring, exposure to E & A Regions, FM Product knowledge.
Licenses:
Series 7 and 63.
Membership: FINRA.
Certifications:
DODD FRANK, SEC AP.
Languages:
English.
Expected annual base pay range: USD 175,000 to USD 325,000.
