We are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Controller to lead our client’s accounting operations and help drive financial accuracy and operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone with a strong public accounting background (Big 4 preferred) and proven leadership experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Own and lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting (GAAP & non-GAAP).
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions to ensure timely billing, collections, and vendor payments.
• Manage payroll, fixed assets, and travel & expense reimbursements.
• Maintain a clean and accurate general ledger and ensure the balance sheet and P&L are properly stated.
• Supervise and support a team of accounting and AP staff (including contractors).
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and identify operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, US GAAP, IFRS, and internal audit requirements.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years in Big 4 Public Accounting, plus 5–10 years in corporate accounting or controllership.
• 4+ years of team leadership and supervisory experience.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and audit processes.
• Experience in a publicly traded company (required).
• Background in financial services is strongly welcomed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (a plus).
• Strong technical acumen, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, and a high standard of professional ethics.
