CFO | Female Founded Fintech Platform | Series

Ember Search has been retained on a CFO search for a Series A, high-growth fintech platform operating at the intersection of consumer finance and healthcare.

The business is solving a massive, broken problem in a ~$100B market by enabling consumers to pay for essential services over time rather than upfront. Unlike traditional insurance, the model focuses on everyday usage and is built around a lending-heavy, capital-intensive structure.

With ~$12M in revenue, 10x growth over the past year, and a clear path toward ~$100M+, the company has reached product‑market fit and is now entering a critical phase of scale.

This is a first-in finance leadership role with full ownership over the financial function and capital strategy.

You will partner directly with the founder and leadership team to:

• Build the financial infrastructure from the ground up (reporting, systems, KPIs)
• Own and evolve the lending and capital strategy, including debt facilities and lender relationships
• Drive key decisions around growth vs. profitability
• Support a likely Series B raise in the next 12–18 months
• Build and scale the finance team (Controller / FP&A over time)

This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑moving environment where you will be expected to operate across strategy, execution, and build.

• Experience in lending, capital markets, or capital‑intensive business models
• Background in growth‑stage (Series A–C) environments
• Strong operator who can build systems and processes from scratch
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution
• Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with leadership, investors, and lenders

• Category‑defining product in a massive, under‑penetrated market
