New York, NY $20 - $30 / per hour Full time

Responsibilities:

• Review and disseminate tax updates and literature to staff as needed as regarding tax updates, etc.
• Speak to clients regarding tax questions as they arise, their tax matters, questions on tax returns, etc.
• Review correspondence to IRS & States in response to notices received.
• As needed, assist with Tax Examinations on clients.
• Some preparation, only as needed, for certain tax returns.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of CCH Pro Systems and BNA Income Tax Planner for projections a must
• Knowledge of tax current law and tax regulations is a must
• Strongly preferred- 8+ years' experience reviewing income tax returns for a firm prepared for clients such as:
  • High net worth individuals.
  • Trusts (including CRAT's & CRUT's)
  • Gift Tax returns
  • Corporations C-Corporations & S-Corporations
  • Partnerships
  • LLC's
  • Exempt organizations
  • Knowledge of foreign filings Forms 5471, 5472, 8938, FinCEN 114, etc.
