Job OverviewA senior financial planning and analysis analyst role at Citi in Mumbai, reporting to the Executive Scorecards team. The role focuses on data validation, control framework improvement, stakeholder management, and strategic initiatives for executive scorecard reporting. You will support capacity planning, budgeting, and performance management for Citi’s financial divisions.
Responsibilities- Manage the monthly Executive Scorecard reporting process within defined timelines, including population reconciliations and data validation.
- Participate in strategic discussions with internal teams regarding scorecard creation and metric attribution.
- Enhance controls framework by identifying gaps, performing root cause analysis, and driving technology and process solutions.
- Assess risks and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
- Provide thought leadership and support for changes to enhance Executive Scorecard production processes.
- Develop strong working relationships across the organization to support strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with multiple locations and professionals as part of the team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong background in accounting, financial analysis, or internal audit, with substantive reviews and internal control experience.
- Experience in finance functions; understanding of capital markets, retail banking, or institutional banking.
- Minimum six years of proven experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong business instincts and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Self‑starter who can independently manage work and deliver on multiple deliverables.
- Change agent; demonstrates clarity of current direction to others.
- Post‑graduate degree required (BE/CA); MBA or CFA preferred.
