Our East Coast Healthcare client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning across a multi-entity healthcare system. Reporting to Finance leadership, this role will play a key role in the preparation of annual budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis while supporting organizational initiatives and regulatory requirements. This 1+ year contract is 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation and consolidation of the annual operating budget.
- Coordinate budget policies, procedures, and reporting across the organization.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting, variance analysis, KPIs, and leadership reporting.
- Support long-range financial planning, forecasting, and departmental financial analysis.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow forecasting models.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, grant reporting, and regulatory submissions.
- Support pension audits, actuarial reviews, and financial management of grant activity.
- Collaborate on finance system upgrades and implementation of new technologies.
- Provide financial insights and reporting tools to executive leadership, committees, and boards.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial operations, budgeting, or financial management.
- Healthcare finance experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles (GASB experience preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs; proficiency with Power BI, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with Infor, Lawson, Kronos, Cerner EMR, Patient Accounting, and/or Strata preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and drive results.
