Investment Banking Associate – Healthcare; Life Sciences​/Biopharma

The Healthcare Investment Banking Group of Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking Associates to support the execution of a broad range of advisory and capital raising transactions across life sciences and biopharma. Associates will work closely with senior bankers and clients, gaining meaningful exposure to transaction execution, client relationship management, and strategic advisory.

• Coordinate transaction execution across equity financings, M&A, and other strategic advisory transactions for life sciences clients
• Prepare pitch books, offering memoranda, management presentations, and other transaction marketing materials
• Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis to support live transactions and pitches
• Conduct industry, company, and product research across various therapeutic areas in biopharma
• Organize and participate in client meetings and investor presentations
• Lead and support drafting sessions for underwriting and advisory engagements
• Conduct comprehensive industry, company, and transaction‑specific due diligence
• Contribute to the development and execution of strategic ideas within key life sciences subsectors (biopharma, medtech, etc.)

• 3‑5 years of life sciences or biopharma investment banking experience
• Demonstrated experience executing M&A, capital markets transactions, and strategic advisory assignments
• General knowledge of life sciences and biopharma industry trends
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise, including biopharma‑specific frameworks
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Series 63 and 79 licenses preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Undergraduate or graduate coursework in life sciences (biology or related field) is a differentiating plus

• Base salary range of $150,000 – $225,000, plus discretionary bonus

The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short‑and long‑term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
