Positions are in New York, NY.

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree
• Must be able to begin full‑time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2027 – August 2027
• Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2026 semester (August 2026 – December 2026)
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate GPA, on a 4.0 scale or equivalent, at an accredited 4‑year college or university
• Business proficiency in English

U.S. Global Wealth Management (U.S. GWM)’s mission is to create industry‑leading experiences for financial intermediaries and their individual investor clients while making a strong contribution to PIMCO’s overall business results. PIMCO U.S. GWM is responsible for business strategy and client coverage of financial intermediaries, including RIAs, wirehouses, family offices, banks/brokerage firms, trust banks, platforms and sub‑advisory relationships. The Strategic Accounts team’s core responsibility is servicing PIMCO’s largest intermediary clients (i.e., national and regional broker‑dealers, banks, platforms, etc.).

Team members act as strategic advisors, providing highly customized investment solutions and services to meet the unique needs of key clients. Success is measured by sales and asset growth, client satisfaction, and the strategic alignment of PIMCO’s solutions with client goals. This dynamic function requires partnership with all corners of the firm, including product strategy, portfolio management, sales, marketing, legal & compliance, and operations.

• Conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, economic indicators, and investment products to support the team’s ability to differentiate PIMCO’s solutions for clients.
• Use data analytics tools to analyze client portfolios, investment performance, and market data to service existing clients and support internal strategic decision‑making.
• Assist in the development and execution of client business plans in collaboration with GWM stakeholders, including sales and product strategy teams.

• Adopt a team‑based approach, communicate effectively, collaborate on key projects, and deliver individual work within expected timelines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Possess a growth mindset by problem‑solving, being curious about the role, and thinking creatively about how to contribute to the broader business.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investments through relevant coursework, certifications, internship/work experience, and/or participation in professional organizations and campus clubs.
• Due to the technical nature of this role, all full‑time members of Strategic Accounts must pass FINRA series exams. Some members have furthered their credentials through an MBA and/or the chartered financial analyst program through the CFA Institute.
• Articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate the ability to conduct research and analyze complex data to identify trends and draw meaningful insights; some proficiency in financial modeling is a plus.
• Possess a solid foundation in finance and economics, along with familiarity with financial statements and basic investment concepts.
• Possess the ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnerships and have an interest in a client‑facing finance career.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

• PIMCO Internship Program runs from Monday, June 8th to Friday, August 14th, 2026, with expectation of full‑time participation.
• Week 1 includes PIMCO Fundamentals Training to build skills, knowledge, and relationships.
