Biz Tek People is searching for an experienced Foreign Exchange and Middle Office Support Consultant for our client in NY, NY. The position is a hybrid front‑office role supporting an FX desk that manages foreign exchange transactions related to client trades and hedging for our fund clients. Additionally, the role assists the securities lending desk with routine daily checks. With Mizuho currently selling its custody business, additional project assignments may arise at management discretion.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the FX trading and operations desks to manage daily FX transactions.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets used to validate client reports related to securities lending.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in reporting data.
- Perform ad hoc analyses as requested.
- Support additional projects as directed by management.
- 2‑4 years of experience in a relevant financial services role.
- Proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas; basic knowledge of VBA preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing reports.
- Familiarity with transactional banking services such as custody, foreign exchange, securities lending, settlement, and SWIFT is a plus.
