Join our Transfer Agent team as a Transfer Agency Operations Associate and play a key role in the daily processing and review of shareholder and DTC presentations across a variety of stock transfer transactions.
In this fast‑paced role, you’ll ensure accurate, timely service delivery while handling everything from routine and complex transfers to DTC processing, stock issuances, and plan enrollments. You’ll also collaborate across departments to solve day‑to‑day issues, support system enhancement testing, and contribute to special projects that drive efficiency and innovation.
- Review and approval of shareholder and DTC presentations related to various stock transfer transaction types, including routine and non‑routine transfers
- Inheritance, gift and cost basis processing
- DTC processing (DWAC & DRS)
- DRIP/DSPP plan enrollments
- New issuances of stock and restricted stock transfers
- Work on special projects within the unit to gain efficiencies and reduce costs
- Partner with other departments to resolve and remediate day‑to‑day issues that may arise
- Assist with testing requirements resulting from system enhancement initiatives
- 1+ years’ experience working in a corporate environment
- Strong MS Excel experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1+ years of prior Transfer Agent experience or financial industry experience preferred
- Strong follow‑up skills
- Detail‑oriented and able to recognize errors in own work and the work of others
- Ability to multitask and prioritize critical items before all other daily tasks
- High levels of initiative and motivation while championing teamwork to meet SLAs
- Exceptional writing skills, with experience drafting sympathetic responses
- Critical thinking and interpretation of requests received from co‑workers, clients, and shareholders
- Typing skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
- Ability to monitor daily activities and proactively intervene when necessary to ensure accurate and timely responses
- Time management and data entry skills
Compensation Range: $25/hour to $27/hour. Bonus Eligibility:
