Business Unit:
Financial Restructuring Group. Houlihan Lokey, Inc. is a leading global investment bank that provides independent strategic and financial advice to corporations, financial sponsors, and governments. This role supports the firm’s financial restructuring practice by working on creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed M&A.

Responsibilities
  • Advising companies and stakeholders in out-of-court and in-court restructurings
  • Raising debt and equity financing
  • Providing distressed M&A advisory services
  • Advising in special situations with elements of distressed investing
  • Participating in complex negotiations on behalf of clients
  • Collaborating with deal teams that include managing directors, vice presidents, associates, and financial analysts
Qualifications
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Creative mindset and ability to generate new ideas
  • Motivated, proactive, and outgoing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and finance
  • Undergraduate degree with exemplary academic record from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in similar investment banking roles
  • Strong analytical, technical, and qualitative abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple project deliverables simultaneously
  • Extensive operational financial modeling and valuation experience
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff
  • Very strong work ethic and careful attention to detail
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role is competitive and may include discretionary incentive compensation. The estimated salary range at the time of posting is $175,000 - $225,000, though actual salary may vary based on qualifications and location. The firm also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
