Investment Banking Analyst/Associate
CoView Capital is a boutique investment bank that has been providing its clients with superior M&A and corporate finance advisory services for over 30 years.
CoView is seeking an Analyst/Associate with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail. As an active member of our close-knit team, the Analyst/Associate would work closely with bankers to execute M&A transactions, raise capital in Private Placements, and render Fairness Opinions.
Duties include:- Performing financial research and analysis
- Developing valuations and financial models
- Researching and writing comprehensive company and industry reports
- Drafting pitch decks
- Researching potential buyers and investors for sell-side clients
- Drafting Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs) and anonymous teasers
- Supporting business development efforts
- Candidate must, within six months, complete the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 Exams
- Undergraduate degree in finance and accounting
- MBA and/or CFA Level 1 a plus
- Excellent academic credentials
- Proficiency in corporate finance and accounting
- Strong quantitative / analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter, creative problem solver, strong work ethic, and team focus
- Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
- Dedication to building a career in the investment banking industry
- Experience in technology, life sciences, and biotech a plus
- Working knowledge of CapitalIQ a plus
- Eligible to legally work in the United States
