Senior Manager，U.S. Hedge Fund Selection & Manager Research

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing, screening and evaluation of U.S. hedge fund managers and products.
• Conduct manager research and due diligence, covering strategy, performance, risk, team stability, fund terms and operational setup.
• Build and maintain a structured hedge fund manager database and recommendation framework.
• Develop and maintain relationships with U.S. hedge fund managers, platforms, prime brokers and industry networks.
• Monitor U.S. hedge fund market trends, strategy cycles, capital flows and manager performance dispersion.
• Prepare fund screening memos, due diligence notes, manager comparison materials and product recommendation documents.
• Support internal investment, product, risk, compliance and client-facing teams on hedge fund selection and product explanation.
• Ensure the fund selection process complies with internal risk, product approval and compliance requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in hedge fund research, fund selection, manager due diligence, fund-of-funds, private banking product platform or asset management platform.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. hedge fund market and major strategies, including equity long/short, multi-strategy, event-driven, relative value, global macro and credit.
• Proven ability to assess hedge fund managers across performance, risk control, team quality, strategy capacity and fund terms.
• Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
• Existing network within the U.S. hedge fund ecosystem is preferred.
• Fluent English;
  Mandarin is a plus.
• Direct portfolio management experience is not required.

This role focuses on U.S. hedge fund selection, manager research and due diligence. It is not positioned as a direct investment manager role.
