Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York
Responsibilities
- Own the firm's research function across the full crypto universe — L1S, L2S, DeFi, and thematic narratives.
- Produce deep-dive research on crypto protocols with genuine technical and financial depth.
- Cover crypto-native public equities: miners, exchanges, and blockchain infrastructure — including earnings calls and balance sheet analysis.
- Develop and maintain long and short-term investment theses across a wide asset range.
- Provide actionable intelligence to portfolio managers with clear risk/reward framing.
- Build and maintain views on tokenomics, on-chain flows, competitive dynamics, and protocol fundamentals.
- Distil research into concise trade ideas and regular market intelligence briefs.
Note:
Candidates without real capital management experience will not be considered for PM roles.
- Broad knowledge across the entire crypto token universe — not limited to Bitcoin or large caps.
- Ability to form balanced, nuanced long and short views — long-only analysts will not be considered.
- Strong fundamental analysis skills: financial modelling, valuation, and competitive analysis.
- Experience with or strong understanding of crypto-equity research (miners, exchanges, infrastructure).
- Familiarity with earnings analysis and balance sheet work in a hybrid crypto-equity context.
- Exceptional written communication — able to synthesise complex ideas into sharp, actionable output.
