Job Overview
Credit Review Senior Analyst, AVP (Hybrid) – part of the CRR Analytics Team providing independent, objective, reliable assurance to Citi’s risk management and senior leadership.
Role supports leadership in Business Monitoring and Review activities, validates credit risk inputs, analyzes portfolio performance, and prepares presentations for regulatory and internal review.

- Ensure best‑in‑class core credit risk analysis of applicable portfolios in accordance with industry practices and Citi’s internal procedures.
- Validate financial inputs used for credit risk ratings across industries.
- Identify and analyze risk situations using credit reports, scorecards, risk systems, and knowledge of risk elements.
- Collaborate with Lead Reviewers on Business Monitoring and Review activities for assigned portfolio of entities.
- Maintain CRR internal systems, track milestones, and document samples.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide conclusions or recommendations.
- Gather deliverables and prepare presentations for internal and regulatory needs.
- Support special projects for the Chief Administration Officer’s team.
- Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and Citi policies.
- 5+ years of experience in banking, finance, accounting, economics, or related fields with credit or financial statement analysis.
- Formal credit training or strong understanding of financial accounting standards.
- Experience assessing credit and financial strength of large corporate, public sector, and financial institution clients.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, Word, Visio skills; ability to learn proprietary systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with a highly productive analytical team.
- Detail oriented with ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Ability to make decisions and balance aggressive timelines amid conflicting priorities.
- Experience managing and analyzing large data sets in a large office environment.
- BA/BSc in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a higher degree such as MBA, or related subject.
