About The Role
The role oversees the month‑end close process, financial reporting, and internal control execution for a rapidly growing technology platform. This position ensures all financial statements are prepared in strict accordance with US GAAP, while maintaining robust documentation for upcoming audit cycles. The Accounting Manager will collaborate closely with corporate finance, legal, and external audit teams to streamline accounting operations, scale financial systems, and implement SOX‑compliant workflows.
This role is critical to establishing a mature financial foundation that supports the company's long‑term strategic objectives.
- Manage the end‑to‑end month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial results.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statement packages in compliance with US GAAP, including detailed variance analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to align with SOX compliance requirements.
- Coordinate directly with external auditors to manage quarterly reviews, annual audits, and technical accounting inquiries regarding complex transactions.
- Optimize and automate accounting workflows within ERP systems (such as Net Suite or Workday) to reduce the close cycle time.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to deliver deep insights into departmental spend, accruals, and cash flow forecasting.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and corporate tech experience preferred.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting frameworks.
- Hands‑on administration experience with enterprise ERP systems (Net Suite, Workday, or Oracle) and close management software (Black Line or Flo Qast).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related quantitative discipline.
- Bonus:
Experience managing stock‑based compensation accounting (ASC 718) or revenue recognition (ASC 606) in a SaaS environment.
