Position Summary
Reports to Private Funds & CLO Operations Manager of Asset and Entity Services within the Guggenheim Credit Services Holdings Business unit. The team currently provides administration and servicing oversight on transactions originated by Guggenheim Investments and its affiliates, including Private Debt Funds and ABL Financing.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the deal team to assist in structuring and review of transaction documents, ensuring they reflect modeled structures.
- Work closely with Client Service Support to initiate the establishment of transactional entities and opening of required accounts, including approval and setup of new transactions on relevant Guggenheim operational control systems.
- Direct execution of cash and securities transactions and funds flow.
- Develop and update transaction procedures and assign responsibilities.
- Communicate directly with internal deal/structuring teams on administrative obligations of transactions.
- Manage transaction structures involving counter parties, servicers, trustees, fund administrators, and Guggenheim operational and control functions.
- Execute amendment, restructuring, and closure of entities at the end of transactions.
- Implement and enhance processes and procedures tailored to administered entities, coordinating with firmwide policy.
- Develop and maintain a model providing testing guidelines for overcollateralization, interest coverage, and collateral quality tests specified in indentures using proprietary models.
- Review and tie‑out extensive data for trustee monthly and quarterly payment reports.
- Maintain borrowing base files for leverage facilities and facilitate fundings or paydowns as directed by portfolio management.
- Oversee general fund matters, monitor and maintain covenants of leverage facilities.
- Shadow and review waterfall calculations and servicer reports.
- Assist manager with data collection for any ad hoc due diligence, RFP, and audit requests.
- Basic Qualifications
- Strong credit, finance, economic, business, and technical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to structure creative solutions.
- Ability to work independently yet seek guidance on complex issues.
- Highly proactive, devising strategies to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Skill in reviewing governing transaction documents and executing them correctly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to performance and accuracy of work.
- Team‑oriented individual capable of working well with diverse and geographically dispersed groups.
- Ability to set and achieve individual and team goals.
- Ability to multi‑task across a robust pipeline of diverse investments in a detail‑oriented and timely manner.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Business degree.
- 6+ years (VP level) experience in investment management or banking operations, including structured finance and SPV issuers.
- Progress toward CFA designation.
