Role SummaryStaff Auditor – Internal Audit & Compliance
We’re adding a new twist: using artificial intelligence and automation to make our audits sharper and more insightful. As a Staff Auditor with AI skills, you’ll help uncover opportunities to improve how our Hospital operates—whether it’s assessing controls over payroll, reviewing supply chain processes, or finding ways to save costs without compromising care.
Your work will contribute to better patient experiences, more efficient hospital operations, and smarter use of resources.
Responsibilities- Assist in planning and performing operational and financial audits across hospital departments such as payroll, procurement, patient billing, and inventory.
- Analyze data to spot trends, inefficiencies, and unusual patterns.
- Build and test AI-powered tools (e.g., automated sampling scripts, natural language processing for document review).
- Create dashboards and automated reports to share findings with leadership.
- Document work in clear, actionable reports that help teams improve.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Active membership and participation in related professional organizations (e.g., IIA, AHIA, AICPA).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP.
- Basic understanding of auditing or process review.
- Experience with AI or automation tools – ChatGPT, Copilot Chat, and Agents.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a love for solving puzzles.
- Strong communication skills – ability to think critically during client interviews and explain findings in plain language.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Knowledge of the health care environment and/or IT.
- Ability to apply analytical techniques and tools to solve problems.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to identify risks and controls.
- Competitive salary ( 68,000– 89,000 annually).
