We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, FX Settlement Analyst - Hybrid (Internal
Job Title:
Securities & Derivatives Analyst – C09 - C10) based in Singapore.
- Process FX transactions settlement, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products.
- Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues in a timely manner and make process improvement recommendations to leadership.
- Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements.
- Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department promptly and collaborate on a solution without compromising any risk & control.
- Ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies. Provide training & guiding junior staff to be equipped with the right skillsets & knowledge for Maker process.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Banking Operations preferred.
- 2-5+ years of experience in Tier 1 global financial institutions including extensive experience in handling large projects delivering operational activities, especially in Foreign Exchange products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and know how to prioritize tasks when under stress.
- Self-reliant, good problem solver & result oriented. Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sources.
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive.
- Able to work well as a team player and as an individual contributor.
- Good analytical skills, positive attitude and good learning ability with great attention to detail and multitasking.
- Open to work on public holidays and weekends.
