About the Opportunity

Firms within the Career Launch AI network—including private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and alternative asset managers—may seek an analytically strong Investment Infrastructure Analyst to support the systems, data, and processes that power investment decision-making.

Individuals in roles like this help maintain and improve the infrastructure used for deal tracking, portfolio monitoring, performance reporting, and investment committee workflows. The role provides broad exposure to how investment teams operate end-to-end, with a focus on scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Investment Systems & Data Infrastructure

Support and maintain investment tracking systems, databases, and dashboards

Ensure accuracy and consistency of deal, portfolio, and performance data

Help improve data workflows across sourcing, diligence, portfolio monitoring, and exits

Reporting & Analytics Enablement

Assist with recurring investment and portfolio reporting for internal teams and stakeholders

Support KPI dashboards, performance summaries, and data visualizations

Translate raw investment data into clear, structured outputs

Process & Workflow Support

Help document, standardize, and optimize investment-related processes

Support investment committee workflows, including materials preparation and data validation

Assist in improving tools used for diligence tracking and decision documentation

Maintain portfolio company data, operating metrics, and financial inputs

Support analysis related to follow-on investments, capital events, and exits

Coordinate with investment and finance teams to ensure data integrity

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with investment professionals, finance, operations, and external service providers

Support implementation or enhancement of investment technology tools

Serve as a bridge between analytical needs and operational execution

Education & Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field

Interest in investment systems, data workflows, or analytics tools

Experience (Formal or Informal)

Prior internships or experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, fund operations, or financial analytics is beneficial
