US Consumer Cards—one of Citi's five core businesses is an industry powerhouse and significant driver of Citi’s overall strategic vision and growth trajectory, serving over seventy million customers nationwide through our innovative credit card offerings and comprehensive loyalty ecosystem. Within US Consumer Cards, our Rewards & Loyalty team delivers proprietary Reward Products including our Strata and Cash portfolios, alongside our rich Thank You and Citi Travel loyalty offerings.

Rewards & Loyalty is seeking a Director - Head of Fee Reward Products
, driving growth, customer engagement, and competitive positioning across its premium card portfolio (Strata Premier and Strata Elite) in a rapidly evolving market. In this senior leadership role, you will own the end‑to‑end strategy for fee‑based Reward Products, setting direction for a dedicated team, and driving outcomes across acquisitions, customer experience, and product development. You will sit at the heart of Citi's US Consumer Cards growth agenda, directly shaping how the business competes and wins in the premium segment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the acceleration of Fee Reward Product growth and customer retention by defining go‑forward strategies informed by analytics and market dynamics across premium card products.
  • Deliver continuous product enhancements to keep Citi's Fee Reward Products competitive, including the development of refreshed value propositions and new acquisition capabilities across existing and emerging channels.
  • Partner with the Premium Customer Experience team to resolve customer issues, improve core customer experience, and deepen engagement with Citi's Retail and Wealth segments.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to drive customer engagement and deliver against key drivers and P&L imperatives.
  • Build and manage external partnerships and deployment opportunities to expand the reach and impact of Fee Reward Products.
  • Lead, develop, and support a team of direct reports, instilling a culture of accountability, commercial discipline, and continuous development.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency with Citigroup’s Compliance & Control policy and local regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance in all internal and external dealings with customers, partners, and regulators.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Required

Qualifications & Skills:
  • 15+ years’ experience in product management, marketing management, or similar capacities, preferably in the financial services industry, including 5+ years’ experience of team leadership and development.
  • Deep knowledge of consumer banking products and the competitive landscape, with the ability to translate market insight into clear commercial strategy.
  • Record of delivering and managing P&L outcomes in a metric‑driven environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions, leading and working alongside key internal and external partners to deliver shared outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of compliance obligations and regulatory requirements in a consumer financial services context, with a clear commitment to ethical conduct and risk‑aware decision‑making.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent university‑level education.
Beneficial Skills &

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business, finance, or related discipline.
  • Experience in fee‑based or Reward products, loyalty programs, or premium consumer banking segments.
  • Familiarity with analytics‑led strategy development, including the ability to identify growth opportunities and risks through data.
  • Experience developing Merchant Funded Value programs or managing external commercial partnerships.
